Winners Education was first introduced to me by my brother who had attended class there a few years before me. Before attending class here, I was struggling in school with so many concepts that I could not grasp.
Winners Education is different from many other tuition centres that I have been to because they do not try to beat the schools in teaching content. The teachers at Winners Education focus on ensuring students can understand topics well instead of focusing on just covering topics quickly. Every lesson was dedicated not so much on content dissemination, but more for asking questions and clarifying doubt. Most importantly, Winners Education always made sure everyone was on the same page and everyone understood fully before continuing with teaching content.
The centre is most suited for students who find it hard to keep up with the pace at school and have not fully grasped their concepts yet. Even though it may seem like content is not being taught as quickly, every lesson is a form of revision for the chapter and students will eventually require less time for final revision at the end of the year. Winners Education helped me to improve my Chemistry grade until I eventually scored an A in the ‘A’ level examinations, and I would certainly recommend this centre to everyone.

My daughter, Sarah, did not understand topics such as acids, bases & salts and mole concept in Chemistry well in the beginning of Secondary 3 this year and received a C5 for her mid-year exams.
On recommendation from a friend, she attended the June 2018 holidays workshop conducted by Sean Chua and found it to be immensely helpful and illuminating. Sean is engaging and piqued Sarah’s interest in Chemistry and built her confidence in the subject. Sarah continued with Sean weekly thereafter.
In her final year exams, Sarah achieves A2, just 1 mark shy of an A1. Thank you Sean for your unrelenting efforts .

When I started JC, chem was a subject that I really tried my best to avoid studying because I struggled with it so much and it was pretty obvious from my grades (i got a U for CTs in year 5).
However, Mr Chua’s lessons really changed my whole attitude towards the subject because of his emphasis on the importance of mastering the basics and getting our fundamental concepts right before moving on to tackle questions and that really helped me in overcoming my fear of the subject I feel.
Not that anyone cares but I ended up getting an A for chem in my A levels which is a pretty big improvement from my U in year 5 so ya THANKS MR CHUA !!
